About
A transport company that knows the Libyan ports
We cover sea freight, customs clearance, inland haulage and storage under one contract, so one party is accountable for the shipment end to end.
Why we started
Accountability was disappearing between three companies
An importer in Libya usually deals with a forwarder abroad, a customs broker at the port, and a third haulier inland. Each is responsible for a stage, and nobody is responsible for the shipment.
At the first delay the blame moves in a circle: the forwarder says the documents were late, the broker says the vessel was late, the haulier says nobody told him. Only the importer pays the demurrage.
We started to cover all four stages under one contract. When there is one party, delay has nowhere to hide.
One party accountable, from the quay to the warehouse door.
Within the group
What being part of a group actually changes
The company belongs to North Africa Holding, a group that includes building materials, contracting and support services companies.
The effect is practical rather than promotional: a materials shipment bound for a company inside the group passes through one party from booking to site delivery, instead of being coordinated between a supplier, a haulier and a contractor who never speak to each other.
